THE IDEA
DESIGNED TO TASTE LIKE A PIECE OF ME.
The challenge was to create a chocolate bar that represented something personal. I started with the flavors I naturally gravitate toward, white chocolate, almond butter, and a little heat, and used them as the foundation for both the product and its identity.
The name Apollo came from my family dog, adding another personal element to a brand designed around pieces of my own personality and taste.

THE DIRECTION
CONTRAST BECAME
THE CREATIVE DIRECTION.
The flavor itself gave us the visual idea: soft vs. bold, cool vs. warm, familiar vs. unexpected. I wanted a modern, elevated identity that felt approachable yet distinctive. Just like the flavor.

THE IDENTITY
MODERN. PLAYFUL.
JUST ENOUGH HEAT.
The Apollo word mark combines bold, geometric forms with a customer detail, a pepper inside the "O." Creating a clean and memorable mark that hints at the flavor without saying too much.

THE PACKAGING
BRINGING THE
CONCEPT TO SHELF.
The final packaging brings the product's contrasts together through a restrained visual system: a cool blue foundation, warm paprika accents, bold typography, and subtle ingredient cues.

THE TAKEAWAY
PERSONAL IDEAS CAN
BECOME DISTINCTIVE BRANDS.
Apollo challenged me to translate something subjective, my own taste, preferences, and personality, into a cohesive product identity. It reinforced how a simple point of inspiration can guide everything from naming and flavor to color, typography, and packaging.
Good things
have a little heat.
